Memorial Day Weekend

School's Out! Graduation is over and it's time for some summertime fun! We had a great weekend visiting with family and friends. We're all excited for things to move at a slower pace, hopefully having more time to taking pictures and update the blog!
On Saturday we traveled to Tipton for the Carter Family Reunion. Connor traveled great that day and had a blast playing outside in the park all day long. He managed to talk about everyone into taking him down for a turn on the slides. Then he talked Daddy into taking him to the hill that Mom used to run up and down when she was a little girl- Connor thought it was just as much fun!

Then Sunday afternoon Connor got to have a playdate with his friend Kinslee who was visiting this weekend. We met at the park for about 5 minutes before it started raining and then we moved the fun to Kinslee's grandparents house.

Since it's raining today we called off our visit to Fayette- I just couldn't do another long car ride and trying to contain him in a wet park! Hopefully we'll get to visit with the McCutcheon's sometime this summer. We decided Monday would just be our lay around in our pjs and rest day- a great way to spend a holiday!!
