Connor is such a sports fan! He loves cheering on his St. Louis Cardinals. He also wears his Yankees outfits that Katie gave him. Although dad dislikes it so much he'll only let us show the picture of Connor crying in it. Coming soon..... Waynesville and MU Tiger gear along with some super cool Rams shoes!

Sports Fan
Connor is such a sports fan! He loves cheering on his St. Louis Cardinals. He also wears his Yankees outfits that Katie gave him. Although dad dislikes it so much he'll only let us show the picture of Connor crying in it. Coming soon..... Waynesville and MU Tiger gear along with some super cool Rams shoes!
My second month
This month I've been out visiting a lot more! I've gone to see mom, dad and grandma at work. I also went to see mom's friends Erin and Heather and her Aunt Kristy. I've been to Fortuna twice and got to celebrate Ma's birthday by watching everyone make homeade ice cream (and watching Katie and Andy in an exciting foot race!). I've been shopping with mom several times and celebrated my friend Madison's fifth birthday. I also got to meet Kinslee, my friend from Kansas City who comes down to visit her grandparents in Waynesville.
Mom has gone back to work part time and is preparing to go back full time soon. I'm laughing, smiling and singing all of the time. I'm even starting to nap in my crib, swing or pack and play. I stayed in a hotel for the first time and have been to several new restaurants.
I've started to notice my puppy Tiger and he's beginning to look a little bit less annoyed with me. I go to bed every night around 9:30 and only get up about twice until mom gets up at 5:00.
I weighed 13.6 lbs. at my two month check up and am now 23.5 inches long. I survived my first set of shots (as did mom and dad) and I'm looking forward to the fall, football season and a break from the heat!
I'm a model, you know what I mean.....
Connor loves modeling outfits for the camera! One day mom took pictures of him on all of the beautiful blankets that people have made for him (here are a couple). We also took a picture in our Clem Long outfit. When mom and dad were trying to pick out a name mom's Uncle Richard decided that we should stay with the "C" theme and suggested Clem for a boy's name. For some reason we decided to go with Connor instead but leave it to Richard to have an outfit made with Clem on it just in case!
Look at how big I'm getting!
My first month
Connor spent most of his first month here growing. He weighed 8.6 lbs. and was 21 inches when born. At his first month check-up he weighed 11 lbs. He enjoys his bath time, being read to, playing on his activity mat, tummy time, short visits in the swing and being held while napping. On July 4th he enjoyed watching dad BBQ and seeing the Ft. Leonard Wood fireworks (from very far away) on our back deck. Okay, maybe at two weeks old he couldn't see the fireworks that far away.
He also started attending church, went with mom and dad to eat out in some restaurants, celebrated with his friend Kyle at his first birthday party and enjoyed many more visits from friends.
On July 22, his one month birthday, he started smiling at mom and dad and his umbilical cord finally fell off! Except for one brief stomach ache he has been a very happy, healthy boy!

Family visits
Connor has had the pleasure of enjoying visits from all sorts of friends and family. Uncle Berry and Aunt Shauna, Aunt Vicki and Uncle Mike, Uncle Carter....notice there are no pictures of Uncle Chip holding Connor! He also had a great visit with his Ma (great grandma), Great Aunts Lynda and Joy, Great Uncle Richard and mom's cousin Katie. Dad's Aunt Trudy came to visit and we're told that Grandma Ruth let her hold Connor but there are no pictures to prove it!
Birthday-June 22
A week after his due date Connor was born at 1:58 am on Friday, June 22. After being induced at 9 am on June 21 and pushing for three and a half hours Connor finally decided to come out and meet his mom and dad. As you can see the grandparents were all very patient. When not listening in through the door they spent the day trying out the better restaurants of Springfield.
