Our growing boy-

Connor has been going through quite a growth spurt lately. We had a check up on the 5th and he is now 33.5" tall and 25 lbs. 12 oz. Just around 75-80% again. He had his last shot before he goes to school. Wow- can't believe we're there already- although we are all very happy and relieved to be finished with the shots for now. He's also hitting his "terrible twos" a bit early- our doctor warned us about this! He has become very opinionated and demanding at times.

Connor loves to share "daddy's yogurt"- we don't even buy his kind any more. Here he is sharing with Colin on Sunday mornings the past two weeks- this morning he called it "Connor's yogurt" and accused Colin of eating it all.

Connor has a new love- blueberry muffins- here is our big boy digging in-

And finally, Connor has his own sense of fashion. Here are some of his latest picks- must save pictures for those teenage years! Gotta love the Halloween pj top and boots- who needs pants?
I know, Pops will hate this pic. - but I love it- he thinks he's so big crawling up on his own chair- and when he gets away before pj time there is no catching him!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Connor made special treats for his friends in the toddler room at church. This was a three day project-
Day one: Make cookie dough (watch Mommy make dough, lick batter off of spatula when finished)-
Day two: cut out cookies and bake them-
"I wear an apron, just like Mommy!"
Very disappointed at the taste of flour-
Day three: icing and sprinkles/taste testing cookies-

Ta-da: Connor was officially in charge of all sprinkles and did an excellent job!Until we got tired and then it was some Imagination Movers as a distraction while mommy finished-

The finished project-
Wrapped up pretty and ready to deliver-We LOVE holidays around here. It doesn't really matter what holiday, it's an excuse to celebrate and buy gifts!
Connor loves his cards, especially the one that says "Elmo Loves You"- thanks Uncle Richard and Aunt Joy, Katie and Andy-

And we always love cards from Ma because they come with one of our favorite gifts (he's thinking about just how many cookies and/or books he can buy with this)

Valentine's morning: Yes, more books!
Swing- a book just like Gallop but about sports- a soon to be new favorite-
And a new camera- "just like mommy's"

The boys got mommy some pretty flowers- just having the two of them is enough for me but the flowers were gorgeous! (Oh yeah, and Colin got us tickets to see Elton John/Billie Joel too--see we all like holidays around this place)
