Connor Turns One!

After the reunion Connor had his first birthday party at Ma's house. He had a great time opening his presents and playing with his new toys.

Nana (Grandma Lawson) made Connor two birthday cakes (and a practice one a week earlier). We've found a great new job for her once she retires next week!

Connor likes to play the disappearing spoon trick when he finishes eating. Here he is asking everyone where his spoon went. We'll have to publish some video that shows how he finds his spoon.On his actual birthday, June 22, Connor had another party at his house. His Grandparents were all there along with Uncle Carter, Uncle Chip, Aunt Trudy and Steve.
Connor got his own chair for his birthday- he is such a big boy sitting alone in his chair!

Trip to Tipton

Connor traveled to Tipton this weekend for the annual Carter Family Reunion. He had a great time meeting and visiting with family and playing in the park. He also got to try some new food and decided that mac and cheese is good stuff!

Connor's Vacation

Connor went on a trip to St. Louis last week. He went to Purina Farms where he was able to pet the pigs and rabbit. He also got to watch a dog show.


Then he got to ride the merry go round at the mall. He liked it so much that he went back the next day to ride the Tiger.


He loved swimming and staying at the hotel. In the morning he enjoyed playing with mom's mascara while dancing in the mirror.

Summer fun

I didn't realize it's been so long without a post. We've been busy with the end of the school year and beginning of the summer activities. Here are a few more recent pics:

Connor likes crawling under the furniture and in the cabinets-
He got a new car seat and now he rides in style. It won't be long before we turn it around forward facing and get an even better view.



He loves to feed himself and is starting to use his spoon. Connor loves eating and out and will try anything when he's in a restaurant. His latest favorite "big people" foods are pizza, turkey and cheese and pudding.He loves getting to float around in his new pool toy that he calls a duck (even though it's a turtle).
Grandpa built Connor his own swing so he can hang out in the backyard and enjoy the weather.
