Pumpkin Patch

Today we took advantage of the wonderful weather and went to the pumpkin patch. Connor loves reading his book where Biscuit the dog goes to the pumpkin patch. He was very excited to see all the pumpkins (and even one dog, although it definately wasn't Biscuit).

Connor was kissing the pumpkins-
This is the closest we got to getting Connor to stand still by the growth chart. I hope everyone enjoys seeing that Colin is right at 6 ft.
Connor got to see the goats. He looks very brave here but when it came time to feed the goats he was much more comfortable just watching mom and dad feed them.
Look at the pigs, but we didn't pet or feed them- they bite!
Ride on a hayride with mom and dad-
Ride the cow train with mom (and yes, it was just as comfortable as it looks)-
Have dad pull me around in the wagon-
Go through the corn maze-Whew- after all that a nap sure sounds good!

But not before I get my own pumpkin to hold on the ride home!

The "Jayhawk trick"

Maybe this is cute enough to make everyone laugh and take some of the sting out of last night's game (ignore the tall grass, isn't it late in the year to still be mowing?) -

Homecoming (Last Week)

Many of you have already seen one of these pictures since it was in the Daily Guide last week. Connor went with mom to some Homecoming activities last week and got caught by the paparazi. Actually, our friend Chris was there taking pictures and she took a bunch of Connor playing around on the turf, the track and with the tiger.

This expensive turf sure is fun to play on!
Come here Tiger, come here....
Oh, what a silly tiger.
The famous picture featured in The Daily Guide, high five tiger-

And we gently pet the tiger's nose....Mom's job rocks- she gets to work with this Tiger every day?

Now Tiger, get me!

Connor's Baptism

Here are a few pictures from Connor's baptism two weeks ago. He was baptized in the same church his mom was- the Fortuna United Methodist Church. It's a very small church (Doug was very impressed by the numbers from the Sunday School sign). The service was beautiful and very special since all 4 grandparents and his great-grandma were able to be there along with the church family that helped raise his mom.
