Connor's blog: June 2009

Connor turns two on June 22! We celebrated with family on the 21st (since that was when I started pushing after all). It was a great day with the Fortuna crew coming into town and Aunt Vicki stayed to join in on the fun. Thanks so much to everyone for coming to share in Connor's special day- he had a blast!! And thanks to Uncle Carter and Uncle Chip who came down earlier in the weekend to see Connor and celebrate- you missed a great party!

In early June we went to Orange Beach, Alabama for a week long vacation with our friends the Bohannan's. We had an absolute wonderful time! The weather was perfect, our condo was awesome (right on the beach with tons of kids stuff), food was incredible and as always spending time with our friends was a blast!
We've taken lots of trips with Brad and Arita as couples but this was the first family trip. It was also our first long road trip with Connor. We had so much fun, hopefully this can become an annual event-

Connor LOVED the beach! He woke up every morning asking to go and when he got tired of the sand and waves then he wanted to go to the blue water (pools) and get in the nice pool (hot tubs)-
