Spring Fun!
We have really taken advantage of the few weeks of good weather that we've had and been outside as much as possible when it's not raining. We all passed around a nasty cold for about two-three weeks and are so glad to be over it. Connor was not himself for almost two weeks with a very runny nose, nasty cough, and congestion that led to no one sleeping well. Then he passed it on to Grammy, mom, and dad. The week after Easter we all recovered and Connor hasn't stopped talking or running since then! Here are some pictures of what he's been up to-
At the park in St. Robert-

Drawing on the driveway with chalk-

Playing with the tractor-

Reading books-
We went to go see Disney on Ice- already too cool to sit with mom-
REALLY into the show!

Maybe a little too much excitement, slept through the last 10 minutes!
Eating his FIRST candy- a KitKat from Easter. Mmmmmmm!
I was unloading the dishwasher and I heard "Uh-oh" from the living room- couldn't be good-
What happens when Connor doesn't get his way (totally faking it in this picture)!
Helping clean out leaves and finally finish the mulch project!
I couldn't help it!

More Easter Pictures
Since we were all sick or getting over a recent illness on Easter our trip to Ma's was postponed until a week later. Still a great time- and the Easter bunny even waited for us before he hid the eggs! We went to church at what Connor calls the "old" church, Connor went to Sunday School taught by Aunt Joy and then after a yummy dinner he hunted Easter eggs-
Connor would run back after finding each egg, sit on Lynda's lap and open it- surprised at all the goodies that came out!
A few of our favorites from Vivid Impressions-

Connor said- "Oh, three bunnies!" When I asked him what their names are he said, "Flopsy, Mopsy and Peter." What can I say? He's a bookworm!

Happy Easter- picture overload!
Happy Easter! I hope everyone had a great day. Connor had a busy day full of lots of fun! He's getting over almost two weeks of being sick- a nasty cold that has led to his first illness, his first throw up and lots of lost sleep for everyone. It's been a long time since I've updated the blog so there are a lot of pictures! If these aren't enough for you, check out www.vividimpressions.net and look at events under bunny special. They're great and I'll get some copies of the pictures on the blog this week.
Preparations for Easter, dying eggs for the first time-
Connor's eggs-
Hand covered with Easter egg dye-
The finished product (Tiger's looks the best, Connor asked him if he wanted to color eggs too)-
Easter morning- Wow! Look at that basket!!
Yea- first thing out, a new toothbrush!
And then it was, "Go in the kitchen, breakfast time." Who cares about the eggs hidden around the living room or the basket full of gifts? It's time to eat pancakes (2 1/2 of them- the appetite is back) dipped in applesauce!!
Now, back to the basket--ooh, cool new books!
And Curious George stickers!
On to the egg hunt- mmmmm eggs filled with Cheerios (fruity and yogurt covered)! He was so excited every time he opened one and saw the cereal.
Connor and Tiger cleaning up the spilled Cheerios-

Lunch at Pops and Nana's house. The bunny cake Connor helped Nana ice yesterday-
After a great lunch (again, the appetite is back) it's time for Connor to play the piano (or pan-yo as he says)-
Make that both pianos. Each time he plays he turns around, claps, and says "what a song!"
Playing with mom's old toys in the basement. The picnic table her Pa made for her and the orange 70's tupperware-
Dinner with friends-
See, mom isn't all bad. Even if there wasn't any candy in the eggs or basket, she gave him some Twizzlers that afternoon!
Playing with the Curious George stickers-
More treats from Grammy and Paw Paw!

Wow- these eggs have money in them. Paw Paw helps him put the money in his bank and Connor told him "Thank you" several times!
Finally, playing with some cards that Grammy brought- as Connor says "what a mess!"

Spring Break
Spring Break is here! This year it takes the form of a four day weekend since we had so many snow days. We're getting ready for a quick trip to Las Vegas and Connor is staying at home to enjoy time with grandparents and hopefully some more warm weather.
It's been a while so here is what we've been up to lately-
Outside enjoying the warm weather, playing the horn that is supposed to be a Christmas decoration-
"Cheese"
Some of Connor's artwork, with a little help from Nana-
Making "messes." Connor loves to get into the cabinets and drawers and really enjoys any type of bath product (soaps, lotions, etc.). Turn your back for one minute and this is what you'll find- he's pointing his finger in the air saying "Don't make a mess!"

A weekend at home
Surprise--we got 9 inches of snow on Saturday! Cancelled all of our weekend plans and we got to stay in and enjoy some time together- it was great. It also gave Connor a chance to show off his awesome new hat- the one that I refer to as the cutest hat in the world. I just love it because when he wears it his face looks like a baby- not the big boy that runs around the house all day.
Modeling the hat-
Loving the snow--
Showing us the snow on the tree-
This is where Connor spent most of the time outside- the snow was up to his knees so it was hard getting around.
He didn't mind-

Connor sitting at the big table feeding himself with a spoon in his new big boy booster seat-

Today Connor had a pretty good fall down the step to our garage. He wasn't listening or following directions- imagine that- and fell face first. It looked horrible with blood around his nose and mouth. Connor wouldn't cry- probably because he didn't want to let me know that I was right. Amazingly I stayed calm as well and when it was cleaned up it was no big deal- just a little busted lip. It didn't hurt much until we brushed teeth tonight and when he went to bed he had to take his "Cold Nemo" ice pack with him!
